The event is intended for our faculty staff, their partners, friends, and colleagues, and not only for fans of fine wine but for all those who want to improve their knowledge of wine or those who want to spend some informal time with their colleagues or external collaborators.
This year we will taste wines from three wineries in the atrium: Rajhradské Klášterní https://www.rajhradskeklasterni.cz/ Vinařství Jedlička https://www.vinoboretice.cz Vinařství Baraque pod Slunečnou https://www.vinarstvibaraque.cz
After a short welcome, each winery will introduce itself and a free tasting of the 24 prepared samples will commence. The event also includes a small buffet. The wines will be available to order on the spot, or electronically the next day, so they can be tasted again at the Christmas table. The place of delivery will be directly at the FSS.
Registration will be via a link you will receive in the mail during November. You will also receive a link to the account number where a deposit of 500 CZK per person needs to be sent.

After the Christmas holiday break, we’re proud to bring you a refreshed section featuring colleagues from various departments of the faculty. In each edition, we’ll ask one person the same seven questions. This time, we spoke with Lenka Kuchyňková, a new addition to the Communication Office, who is responsible for organizing faculty events and managing the department’s administration.
This November at the Faculty of Social Studies was marked by a vibrant varied program, engaging events, and visits from notable personalities. Among the highlights were Tea with the Dean and the graduation ceremonies, which you can read more about in other articles in this newsletter. The faculty, however, also hosted several other interesting events.
