The block "What to watch out for in a project" was prepared to summarize examples of good and bad practices and present possible solutions. Staff from the Finance and Personnel Offices and the Office for Research and Project Support of the FSS provided practical advice for successful project management.
The block "How to work in a project team I." was led by lecturer Peter Friesinger, to strengthen the participants’ abilities in leading diverse teams, while also teaching them how to assign tasks well, communicate feedback and strengthen the confidence and competencies necessary for leading a research team.
The block "How to use MS Teams in project management" focused on practical demonstrations of GDPR-compliant secure storage, advanced calendar features, shared email addresses, and many other technical "tweaks". The lecturer Zdeněk Hruška from ÚVT (the Institute for Computer Science) provided the participants with useful information on how to use this popular platform effectively.
The block "How to work in a project team II." concluded the management crash course and each participant left with a specific vision for managing their larger or smaller team.
