What experiences make you a great ambassador?

Venturing into the unknown and starting a new life far from home is overwhelming and challenging. I know firsthand the fears that come with embarking on this journey, the rollercoaster of emotions experienced, and the countless questions that arise. Finding support along the way is crucial. I was fortunate to discover networks of people who made my adaptation to Brno a rewarding and much more manageable experience. I want to help others in the same way I was helped, by facilitating their adaptation process and easing any burdens they may face.

What advice would you give to new students?

Entering this new stage can be challenging, yet it is also an enriching experience. The best advice I can give you is to make the most of this opportunity. Allow yourselves to explore and reinvent, discovering new interests, desires, and ways of being. Engage in as many activities as possible and develop not only your intellectual and academic abilities but also your personal growth. Immerse yourselves in Czech culture and acquaint yourselves with other cultures to enrich your experience, shaping yourselves as global citizens where freedom and diversity open the door to dialogue.

Now, you have the chance to be part of an environment that will not only train you in a profession but will also challenge you to become well-rounded professionals. This environment will provide you with the necessary tools to develop critical and innovative thinking. Seize this opportunity to the fullest!

What do you love most about Brno?

Brno, in my opinion, is a hidden gem. From day one, I fell in love with the vast array of opportunities the city offers. Its position on the map is a definite plus, offering a wide range of cultural activities and allowing you to walk almost everywhere. It's a place where making friends is easy; people are friendly and facilitate communication, even when language barriers arise. The city is filled with beauty wherever you look and provides easy travel access to other destinations.
