What does your ideal morning look like?
Coffee + book + peace.

What book have you read recently, and would you recommend it?
Antonín Tesař et al.: Planeta Nippon – A must-read for fans of Japanese pop culture.
Drago Jančar: And Love Itself – Slovenian Maribor, love, Germans and partisans, and World War II.
Åsne Seierstad: The Afghans – An intimate portrait of three people with different fates, family backgrounds, escape from the Taliban, or life in Afghanistan.
Oliver Burkeman: Meditations for Mortals – A celebration of imperfection, playing the game of life with the cards you’re dealt, staying open to chance, and being kind to yourself.
Silvie Šeborová: Nemísta – A must-have for everyone who wants to discover lost locations in Brno.

What part of your workday do you look forward to the most?
Coffee.

What has surprised you the most in the past six months?
As Pippi Longstocking says: "I've never done that before, so I'm sure I can!" Suddenly, I find myself dancing through life to the rhythm of Cuban salsa with the salseros from Cuban UP dance studio. You can start something new at any time—there’s no need to wait for a “better moment,” as it may never come. Just be brave and follow your dreams.

What is your favorite place at the faculty?
The library.

In retrospect, what advice would you give to your younger, student self?
If something interests and excites you, go for it! Never stop learning and stay open to whatever comes your way.
