The First Edition of MUST Week at FSS Is Successfully Behind Us!
Last week at the Faculty of Social Studies was marked not only by the celebration of Faculty Day but also by the very first edition of the Masaryk University Staff Training Week (MUST Week). The event was jointly organized by the International Relations Office and the Research and Project Support Office.
During the five-day program, we welcomed colleagues from 7 universities across 5 different countries. The professional program included roundtable discussions focused on sharing experiences in specific areas, as well as thematic workshops dedicated to grant opportunities, mobility, and support systems.
A rich social program was also part of the event – including a guided tour of the city, the faculty, and training facilities, a visit to SIMU, and an evening walk through Brno with many stops along the way.
The farewell was full of emotions, gratitude, and hope for future cooperation. We’re already looking forward to the next edition!
On 28 April 2025, the Department of Social Policy and Social Work spent an inspiring day with colleagues from the Department of Business Administration at the School of Culture and Society, Dalarna University in Sweden.
On Saturday, 26 April 2025, students from the Faculty of Social Studies gathered for the traditional Spring Hike — and it turned out to be a fantastic afternoon. Under sunny skies, full-degree and exchange students, including our student ambassadors, enjoyed a scenic walk along the Svitava River towards Bílovice nad Svitavou.
